What's the difference?

We've designed two versions of our popular Dawn mattress with all of the same technology and materials. The only difference is that the Dawn Extra Firm Mattress features slightly denser Casper memory foam while the Medium-Firm version offers a softer feel that contours your body.

A bed-in-a-box is a mattress that’s compressed in an air-sealed bag and rolled tight so that it can fit into a box that’s easier to maneuver than a traditional mattress. This allows you the flexibility of choosing your mattress and having it easily delivered to your door. When you receive the mattress, all you’ll need to do is pull it out of its packaging, lay it flat, and let it expand.

Step 1: Protect your mattress
We strongly recommend using a mattress protector to prevent damage to your Casper mattress (plus a protector makes cleaning simple—just remove and wash as needed). Check out the Casper Mattress Protector or Casper QuickCool™ Mattress Protector, both of which are waterproof and designed to shield your mattress against stains, dirt, and wear.

Step 2: Keep it clean
No protector? Unzip the top portion of the cover and throw it in the wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry only and wash separately to avoid colour transfer or pilling. For spills or stains on the bottom portion of the mattress, spot clean gently with mild detergent and water, and let it air dry.

Step 3: Rotate to maintain
Rotate your mattress 180 degrees every three to six months to ensure it wears evenly. Do not flip it—Casper mattresses are designed with a specific top and bottom.
